Andean Emerald

Uncommon and local at borders of humid and montane forests, clearings and gardens in more humid lowlands and foothills between 900 - 1600 meters. The range for this species is the Andes of Columbia and western Ecuador, northern Peru and southeast Ecuador. In western Ecuador, it is generally found below 1400M.
